Question # 849
Ihave a?about the mussel pipe 2 for the os fifty. You have one for jr high gears and the raptor lower gears. On my voyager 50 I installed the 10 touth for a 88 to 1 witch pipe do i need.
PS.are you still flying with powerflite?if you are and i am,the varible voltage regulater pot tends to change voltage with the vibation of the heli.i did make sure that it wasn't my switch.and my setup is very stable [no vibration in my tailfins or canopy] to cure it i had to use some silecone down on that pot.i talked to the guys at powerflite.they said the have never had a problem with it,but said also they never tookit back apart to make sure the regulater stayed were the set it.mine went down in voltage thankfuly and not up.i wouldn't want to know what my throtle jokey and gyro would have done with over 7 volts but it is a good thing you can't turn it to no volts thanks for your respons

Answer
With the 8.8 gear ratio you want the LR (low gear ratio) version like the Raptor uses.
As for the Powerflight regulator, I have not been using the adjustable one so I have not run into that problem. Thank you for mentioning it though. I will watch for that if I start to use that one.
